Today we wake up to a tremor that shakes the staircase and our little attic room, and I’m reminded of Nepal’s earthquake history, but it’s short lived and a late breakfast of chappati, omelette for some and copious amounts of tea fuel us for the day ahead.

While in Kathmandu we couldn’t fathom that we would be capable of waking up and walking the day after a ten hour drive. But we’re excited. The mountains are working their magic and we are all keen to get going.

A ten hour Jeep ride, the only vehicle rugged enough to make the road to Salleri. Flying is another option, but not on our budget.
