After a couple of tricky big days we spend the morning in Figeac as it’s a bigger town than we’ve seen in awhile, so we catch up on some admin and get organised.
We have been walking the last couple of days alongside Norman of Canada who has completed the Camino six times. He’s a great reservoir of knowledge, patient and all round good bloke.
It’s a much cooler day to Beduer and so the walking is much easier. Tom spends a lot of the time stretching his legs which suits me and my back just fine.
Alissa’s feet are playing up again but the boys keep trucking on without major issue. It’s a short day but we got away so late we get there too late in the day to contemplate getting washing done, Again. Standards are starting to slip.
The campground in Beduer is great with tons of trees and it seems child friendly which isn’t that true of some of the other campgrounds we’ve stayed in. Plus Alissa’s dreams are made when she discovers espressos are available on site and we can order croissants for breakfast. Ideal.
